Intermediate Drawing: Ages 9 and up
Students in the Intermediate drawing classes must be a minimum age of nine years. Intermediate classes are also divided into A and B levels. Intermediate A classes, for ages 9 to 12, focus primarily on core skills development (line, tone, light & shadow, perspective, etc.) with clearly stated project goals. Intermediate B classes, for students 12 to adult, present nearly identical learning objectives but with much more freedom to modify the projects and work independently. This environment is important for students to learn how to develop creative approaches and insights as well as how to proceed with them.
THIS GALLERY combines artwork from the above class levels. It represents a sampling of drawings and paintings that have been shown in our yearly student art shows. Click on any thumbnail picture below to see an enlarged image, or start at the first image and view an entire slide show.
